Francis Home Page |
| Francis is operated by the Department of Behavioral and Social Sciences at Southern Arkansas University. The university's mascot is the mulerider, a term coined many decades ago by a farmer who saw the college's sports players riding mules in order to catch the train to the away games. The department wanted to make available lectures and other voice-based materials for distance learning. Based on the talking mule from the movies, Francis was the logical choice (well, at least in our minds). |
